THIS NEW HAMPSHIRE HOME REQUIRES NO HEATING OR AIR CONDITIONING

Solar Home

A comfortable 4300 square foot, three bedrooms, two and one half bath, cathedral ceilings, year-round solarium, loft office, spiral stair case to a working cupola and more. Integrates a high thermal mass passive design with a unique seasonal heat storage under the solarium floor. Warm in the severe New Hampshire winter months and cool during the hot humid summer months without the need for backup heating or air conditioning. The house is bright with sun lighting the entire inner space during the day with soft moon light glow at night. From the temperature stand point, the house is simply a joy to experience without consuming natural resources or depleting our petroleum reserves.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY and ECONOMICAL SOLAR HOMES

The experience with this type of solar design is unique to all other design approaches. In the past, solar homes and living acquired a perception that in order to conserve energy, we must live with minimal features and amenities in order for such a home to function. On the contrary! A Systems Design Approach" can change this perception and has demonstrated that a well designed solar home can be superior to any conventional home in every respect without the need for consuming human resources for comfort. What does that mean? The usual expenses of heating and cooling are eliminated - means - huge savings over a life time.

Incorporating a Systems design approach to the solar industry will revolutionize the industry and bring about new possibilities in architecture that can bring dreams to a level of reality.   NASA has employed Systems Design in the space program, but has never been used as a methodology in solar design.
